No Google Drive headaches, no forced tier upgrades, and massive cost savings.
CamTom operates as a layer on your Google Drive. When your 15 GB free Google quota runs out, you get "Storage Full" errors and must pay Google monthly. Pixelect gives you ~400 GB of dedicated high-speed cloud storage (20,000 photos) directly. Zero Google Drive accounts to link, zero storage overflow panics.
To get AI Face Recognition and E-Album on CamTom, you must buy their Professional Plan for ₹1,999/year. Pixelect gives you both AI Event matching and 75 Flipbook Albums in the flagship Pro Studio plan for only ₹1,299/year (just ₹108/month).
Calculate the real cost: With CamTom, you pay ₹1,999 (Software) + ₹2,500+ (Google One storage) = ₹4,500+ every year. With Pixelect, your total bill is only ₹1,299 per year all-inclusive. Keep thousands of rupees in your pocket while delivering a superior experience.
Google Drive syncing can throttle, freeze, or take hours with heavy RAW files. Pixelect's Windows Companion app works directly on your local drives and memory cards. It reads selections from the client and copies RAWs in seconds with zero internet consumed.
Common queries from studios switching from CamTom to Pixelect.
Unlike CamTom which requires you to connect and fill up your personal Google Drive, Pixelect hosts all client selection galleries on its own high-speed cloud infrastructure. You get ~400 GB (20,000 photos) included in the ₹1,299 plan, so you never have to buy Google One subscriptions.
Yes! While CamTom requires you to buy their ₹1,999 Professional tier to access AI and flipbooks, Pixelect includes 1 Active AI QR Event Slot and 75 Flipbook Albums right in our ₹1,299/year Pro Studio plan.
It runs locally on your PC at your SSD or memory card's full read speed. An album selection of 150 RAW files copies in just 10 to 15 seconds, without using any internet data or waiting for Google Drive sync.
Yes! You can sign up free with no credit card, upload a demo project with 1,000 photos, and experience the client selection interface and local RAW copy immediately.
